About

Welcome! My name is Taylor and I am happy to see you stop by.
I am currently attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Go Badgers! I have always wanted to be a writer. As a kid I spent my free time writing stories and talk show scripts (I pretended to have a show in which I was the host, "Jennifer Lee", and my show was Let's Talk Problems. My mom was really into Dr. Phil at the time, so I think that's where that rooted from.). In high school, my love of writing became even stronger when I took AP Composition and Language and officially decided that I didn't want to be a doctor--which is something that I said I wanted since I was six. I realized it wasn't realistic to become a doctor with part-time writing career. That class is also where I started this blog.
I was born and raised in the suburbs of Minneapolis and, yes, the winters are freezing. But I love the land of "ten thousand lakes", and after traveling the country a little, I can say "Minnesota Nice"is real.

When I'm not writing I love spending time with friends, getting as creative as possible with how we spend our time. Luckily, I also found friends who have a great taste in music, so we love going to concerts or just singing along in the car together. In my spare time (by that I mean the spare time I get when classes are not in session) I am a yogi--love hot yoga!--and I have a blue belt in karate. I am also learning how to code so that one day I can host a website of my own. So far I have created a site using HTML and CSS, but getting it up and running is a little more difficult and expensive than it's worth right now.
This is my little sister, Sydney. Despite the massive 15-year age gap, it pains both of us to be apart. She's not quite old enough to understand why I leave her for months at a time to go to college, but when I am back she is my biggest supporter and my favorite playmate.

Someday I hope to have a job in the film industry or doing something where I get paid to write. For now I am a Writer. Sister. Daughter. Granddaughter. Friend. Badger. Student. Concert Go-er.Reader. T.V. Watcher. Traveler. Volunteer. Creator. Story Teller. Bicyclist. Cupcake Enthusiast. Runner. Car Singer. Blue Belt. Yogi.
